1 What is the admissions process at the ACE? How can my child qualify?
The basic criteria for admissions will be a confirmed diagnosis of Autism, the availability of space within the program (each classroom will have no more than 8 children) and that the applicant should fall within the age range of a given class. (children in a class will be grouped within a range of 2 years).
2 How do I enroll my child in the school & when do admissions open?
Admission are now open, please download the admission enquiry form by filling the registration form.
3 How many children will be enrolled in the program?
Initially, the school will begin with 3 classrooms of 8 each with a total of 24 children. The program will expand further within the first year itself and add 2 more classrooms, taking the total to 40 children. The school plans to have an intake of 20 children annually to a maximum of 100 over 3 years.
4 What is the Fee Structure ?
The fee structure is available with the admissions office.
5 What are the timings of the school ?
9 am to 3 pm
6 Do you accept children with MR along with severe Autism ?
Yes, if MR co-exists along with Autism, then admission would be considered.. However, we are not taking children only with MR or Down's syndrome at this time.
7 What other facilities will be available to the children besides the school program?
The students are encouraged to go the Playground and Sensory Room where they can engage in a variety of physical activities such as cycling, football, basketball as well as leisure activities on swings and slides.
8 Is this an inclusive school?
No, the ACE is a specialized program within a mainstream school. There might be opportunities for integration with neurotypical peers but it is not an integrated teaching program.
9 Is this a part of Heritage School?
We are partnered with the Heritage school, but ACE will be run independently as a separate program with its own staff, students and a specialized ABA based curriculum.
10 What is the philosophy of the school?
ACE aims to provide high quality autism intervention and education from childhood to early adulthood based on the principles of ABA. In the long term, ACE hope to create a standardized model for Autism intervention that may be replicated and utilized across educational settings.
11 Will the school provide transport?
ACE does not provide transportation, the parents need to arrange pick up and drop off.
12 Is this a residential school?
No, there is no residential facility at present.
13 Will the school provide meals?
The school does not provide meals, however, we facilitate serving the meals that students bring from home.
