Advocacy and Fund Raising Officer

The candidate will be the focal point for all outreach efforts directed towards autism and ACE. This person will also be primarily responsible for organising fund raising opportunities and maintaining donor relationships.

Programme Manager

Under the supervision of a Specialist from NECC, the Programme Manager is responsible for the supervision and management of all aspects of the classroom. The Programme Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining a classroom that fosters independence, education, cooperation, group planning and decision making for students and staff.

Programme Specialists

The Programme Specialist will oversee three or more classrooms of 8 students each within the 6 hour school programme at ACE. The specialist will be responsible for overseeing the programming aspects as well as for the training of teachers while closely managing the details of the interventions based on the principles of ABA.

Speech and Language Therapist

The Speech Therapist will work with children on the Autism Spectrum, who have limited or emerging language, under the supervision of a behaviour specialist. The SLP will be responsible for speech and language therapy as well as augmentative communication and should have some familiarity with picture exchange communication systems (pecs) and sign language.
