The ACE Teacher Training Programme is implemented in two parts - An initial 2 weeks intensive training for all incoming teachers and staff that includes all day training for that period, followed by ongoing training on a daily basis for an hour each day throughout the working days of the year.
The intensive initial two-week long teacher training programme involves theory, as well as hands-on training on intervention procedures. Ongoing teacher training are conducted on a daily basis for an hour during school hours.
ACE provides parent training workshops several times a year to address issues relevant in the home and community settings. Parents get the opportunity to learn tools to teach their children more effectively.
These training programs provides high-quality, continuing education experiences for educators and clinicians. Our training includes evidence-based information presented in user friendly terms with an emphasis on practical solutions for the classroom, community and home settings. Sessions include hands-on practice utilizing the most effective teaching procedures and data collection methods. Our trainers are Board Certified Behavior Analysts from NECC with experience in designing and overseeing the education of students with Autism Spectrum Disorders in school and home settings.
